In January 2024, the average import price for adhesives; prepared, based on rubber or plastics (including artificial resins) amounted to $4,195 per ton, picking up by 8.2% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in June 2023 an increase of 20% month-to-month. The import price peaked at $5,116 per ton in July 2023; however, from August 2023 to January 2024, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In January 2024, the country with the highest price was Germany ($5,583 per ton), while the price for the Czech Republic ($1,264 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
