Over the period from November 2022 to November 2023, it increased at an average monthly rate of +3.0%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in January 2023 an increase of 27% against the previous month. The import price peaked at $25,602 per ton in April 2023; however, from May 2023 to November 2023, import prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In November 2023, the country with the highest price was Germany ($2.3M per ton), while the price for Italy ($21,862 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From November 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Germany (+50.8%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Poland ($67,908 per ton), while the average price for exports to the UK ($2,442 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Serbia (+13.8%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
