In 2022, the average import price for alcohols; cyclanic, cyclenic or cycloterpenic and derivatives, sterols and inositolses amounted to $20,553 per ton, growing by 26% against the previous year. Over the period under review, import price indicated mild growth from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +1.0% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Overall, total imports indicated a remarkable increase from 2019 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of +18.6% over the last three-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, imports decreased by -1.2% against 2020 indices. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2020 with an increase of 69% against the previous year. As a result, imports reached the peak of $12K. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of imports of remained at a lower figure.
