In general, the import price recorded a slight reduction. The growth pace was the most rapid in March 2023 when the average import price increased by 11% against the previous month. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $5,845 per ton in December 2022; however, from January 2023 to November 2023, import prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Switzerland ($8,010 per ton), while the price for Serbia ($4,358 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From December 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by China (+1.8%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

The export price peaked at $6,768 per ton in January 2023; however, from February 2023 to November 2023, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
