In March 2022, the average export price for aluminium; alloys, bars, rods and profiles, other than hollows amounted to $5,332 per ton, reducing by -9% against the previous month. Over the period from March 2021 to March 2022, it increased at an average monthly rate of +2.4%. The growth pace was the most rapid in August 2021 an increase of 8.3% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the peak figure at $5,858 per ton in February 2022, and then shrank in the following month.
Average prices varied somewhat for the major export markets. In March 2022, the highest price was recorded for prices to Kazakhstan ($6,208 per ton) and Poland ($5,889 per ton), while the average price for exports to Latvia ($4,400 per ton) and the Czech Republic ($4,446 per ton) were amongst the lowest.
From March 2021 to March 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Ukraine (+3.6%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
