The average export price for aluminium; foil, (not backed), of a thickness not exceeding 0.2mm, not rolleds stood at $21,605 per ton in November 2023, remaining relatively unchanged against the previous month. In general, the export price recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in July 2023 an increase of 11% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the maximum at $24,356 per ton in March 2023; however, from April 2023 to November 2023, the export prices failed to regain momentum.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Indonesia ($28,277 per ton), while the average price for exports to Brazil ($16,716 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
