The average import price for aluminium; foil, (not backed), of a thickness not exceeding 0.2mm, not rolleds stood at $4,355 per ton in January 2024, picking up by 25% against the previous month. Overall, the import price, however, showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in August 2023 an increase of 27% against the previous month. The import price peaked at $4,861 per ton in January 2023; however, from February 2023 to January 2024, import prices remained at a lower figure.
