The average export price for aluminium; powders of non-lamellar structures stood at $1,952 per ton in December 2021, falling by -2.5% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price, however, showed a resilient increase. The growth pace was the most rapid in May 2021 an increase of 88% m-o-m. The export price peaked at $2,463 per ton in August 2021; however, from September 2021 to December 2021, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major foreign markets. In December 2021, the country with the highest price was the Philippines ($4,419 per ton), while the average price for exports to China stood at $1,522 per ton.
From December 2020 to December 2021, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the Philippines (+20.0%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the average import price for aluminium; powders of non-lamellar structures amounted to $3,206 per ton, remaining relatively unchanged against the previous year. In general, the import price, however, saw a mild reduction. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2017 when the average import price increased by 22% against the previous year. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $4,266 per ton in 2018; however, from 2019 to 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Australia (+27.4%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.
