In 2022, the average aluminium; tubes and pipes export price amounted to $4,686 per ton, increasing by 6.9% against the previous year. In general, export price indicated a measured expansion from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +4.5% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, aluminium; tubes and pipes export price increased by +47.3% against 2020 indices. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 when the average export price increased by 38%. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the maximum at $5,321 per ton in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was the United Arab Emirates ($6,500 per ton), while the average price for exports to Saudi Arabia ($1,360 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
