In July 2023, the average import price for apricots, cherries, peaches (including nectarines), plums and sloes, freshes amounted to $2,010 per ton, dropping by -17.8% against the previous month. Overall, import price indicated a strong expansion from March 2023 to July 2023: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +5.9% over the last four months. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on July 2023 figures, import price for apricots, cherries, peaches (including nectarines), plums and sloes, freshes increased by +54.9% against April 2023 indices. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in May 2023 when the average import price increased by 53% m-o-m.
