The average export price for apricots, cherries, peaches (including nectarines), plums and sloes, freshes stood at $1,664 per ton in 2022, which is down by -1.5% against the previous year. Overall, the export price saw a noticeable descent. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 when the average export price increased by 185% against the previous year. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $2,478 per ton. From 2021 to 2022, the average export prices remained at a lower figure.
Average prices varied noticeably for the major export markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the highest price was recorded for prices to Kuwait ($1,676 per ton) and Saudi Arabia ($1,673 per ton), while the average price for exports to Iraq ($1,639 per ton) and Bahrain ($1,653 per ton) were amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the United Arab Emirates (-0.9%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.

Over the period under review, average import prices reached the maximum at $1,332 per ton in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Syrian Arab Republic ($1,497 per ton), while the price for Egypt ($425 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
