In August 2023, the average import price for apricots, cherries, peaches (including nectarines), plums and sloes, freshes amounted to $2,627 per ton, therefore, remained relatively stable against the previous month. In general, the import price saw a relatively flat trend pattern. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the peak figure in August 2023.

Average prices varied noticeably amongst the major supplying countries. In August 2023, the country with the highest price was the United States ($2,683 per ton), while the price for Spain totaled $2,160 per ton.

From December 2022 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the United States (+5.7%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.
