In July 2023, the average import price for apricots, cherries, peaches (including nectarines), plums and sloes, freshes amounted to $2,280 per ton, dropping by -48.5% against the previous month. In general, the import price, however, continues to indicate a buoyant expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in May 2023 an increase of 211% month-to-month. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $5,052 per ton. From June 2023 to July 2023, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.

There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In July 2023, the country with the highest price was the United States ($3,614 per ton), while the price for Spain totaled $1,938 per ton.

From April 2023 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Chile (-6.7%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced a decline.

The average export price for apricots, cherries, peaches (including nectarines), plums and sloes, freshes stood at $1,558 per ton in 2020, rising by 42% against the previous year. In general, the export price, however, showed a mild shrinkage. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 when the average export price increased by 172% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the maximum at $5,186 per ton in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2020, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.

As there is only one major export destination, the average price level is determined by prices for Papua New Guinea.

From 2012 to 2020, the rate of growth in terms of prices for Poland amounted to +74.4% per year.
