In September 2023, the average articles of fiber cement export price amounted to $1,105 per ton, surging by 2.8% against the previous month. Over the last twelve months, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.6%. The growth pace was the most rapid in October 2022 when the average export price increased by 8.4% month-to-month. The export price peaked in September 2023.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Canada ($1,240 per ton), while the average price for exports to the UK ($521 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From September 2022 to September 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to France (+8.5%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

In September 2023, the average articles of fiber cement import price amounted to $694 per ton, surging by 7.2% against the previous month. Over the period from September 2022 to September 2023, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.2%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in January 2023 an increase of 28% against the previous month. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the peak figure at $888 per ton in May 2023; however, from June 2023 to September 2023, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
