The average export price for artificial staple fibres, not carded, combed or otherwise processed for spinning stood at $2,984 per ton in December 2023, declining by -2.2% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price recorded a noticeable downturn. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in March 2023 an increase of 2.5% month-to-month. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs at $4,294 per ton in December 2022; however, from January 2023 to December 2023, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
