In June 2023, the average bed linen of cotton import price amounted to $11,179 per ton, which is down by -3.2% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in September 2022 when the average import price increased by 9.7% against the previous month. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the peak figure at $12,998 per ton in March 2023; however, from April 2023 to June 2023, import prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In June 2023, the country with the highest price was Portugal ($29,094 per ton), while the price for Pakistan ($9,927 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Portugal (+2.1%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average bed linen of cotton export price stood at $14,167 per ton in June 2023, dropping by -3.6% against the previous month. In general, the export price, however, saw a slight increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in February 2023 when the average export price increased by 177% month-to-month. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $41,843 per ton. From March 2023 to June 2023, the the average export prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major overseas markets. In June 2023, the country with the highest price was Italy ($23,567 per ton), while the average price for exports to Bulgaria ($8,669 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Sweden (+4.5%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Imports of Bed Linen of Cotton in Denmark
