The average import price for bed linen of other woven textiles and non-woven man-made fibres stood at $7,390 per ton in December 2022, shrinking by -3.9% against the previous month. Overall, the import price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in January 2022 when the average import price increased by 18% month-to-month. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the maximum at $9,094 per ton in July 2022; however, from August 2022 to December 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.
Average prices varied noticeably amongst the major supplying countries. In December 2022, the country with the highest price was China ($7,306 per ton), while the price for Vietnam totaled $6,446 per ton.
From December 2021 to December 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by China (+1.0%).

In 2022, the average export price for bed linen of other woven textiles and non-woven man-made fibres amounted to $29,104 per ton, which is down by -2.2% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, saw a buoyant expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 when the average export price increased by 459%. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $40,623 per ton. From 2021 to 2022, the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major foreign markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was China ($76,491 per ton), while the average price for exports to Singapore ($7,880 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to China (+13.5%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, after three years of growth, there was significant decline in overseas purchases of bed linen of other woven textiles and non-woven man-made fibres, when their volume decreased by -16.5% to 3.4K tons.
