In December 2023, the average export price for bed linen of other woven textiles and non-woven man-made fibres amounted to $10,765 per ton, surging by 7.1% against the previous month. In general, the export price, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in October 2023 when the average export price increased by 14% month-to-month. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the peak figure at $11,058 per ton in December 2022; however, from January 2023 to December 2023, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Saudi Arabia ($31,072 per ton), while the average price for exports to Ukraine ($1,004 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From December 2022 to December 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the United Arab Emirates (+9.1%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the average import price for bed linen of other woven textiles and non-woven man-made fibres amounted to $10,862 per ton, with an increase of 20% against the previous year. Over the last decade, it increased at an average annual rate of +1.2%. Over the period under review, average import prices hit record highs at $12,411 per ton in 2019; however, from 2020 to 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was Cambodia ($27,997 per ton), while the price for Bulgaria ($5,080 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Cambodia (+2.7%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
