The average bedding and furnishing article import price stood at $11,159 per ton in September 2022, remaining constant against the previous month. Overall, import price indicated a slight expansion from September 2021 to September 2022: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +1.9% over the last twelve-month period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. From July 2022 to September 2022, the average import prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In September 2022, the country with the highest price was China ($11,575 per ton), while the price for India ($3,530 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From September 2021 to September 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by China (+2.2%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.

In 2022, the average bedding and furnishing article export price amounted to $8,196 per ton, which is down by -6.8% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price showed a slight reduction.
