In September 2023, the average import price for bedspreads; not knitted or crocheteds amounted to $7.4 per unit, reducing by -25.8% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price, however, showed a notable expansion. The growth pace was the most rapid in February 2023 when the average import price increased by 135% against the previous month. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $11.7 per unit. From March 2023 to September 2023, the average import prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Russia ($11.4 per unit), while the price for China ($4.1 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From September 2022 to September 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Turkey (+5.9%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
