The average export price for bituminous or oil shale and tar sandses stood at $202 per ton in 2022, shrinking by -8.7% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price continues to indicate a abrupt curtailment. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2014 when the average export price increased by 30%.
