In September 2023, the average blankets and travelling rugs export price amounted to $19.5 per unit, almost unchanged from the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price enjoyed measured growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in December 2022 an increase of 114% month-to-month. The export price peaked at $25.5 per unit in January 2023; however, from February 2023 to September 2023, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Yemen ($15.1 per unit), while the average price for exports to Canada ($5.7 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
