Price for Blankets and Travelling Rugs in Slovenia (CIF) - 2023
In August 2023, the average blankets and travelling rugs import price amounted to $6.6 per unit, which is down by -9.5% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price continues to indicate a perceptible shrinkage. The growth pace was the most rapid in May 2023 when the average import price increased by 36% against the previous month. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $11.1 per unit. From June 2023 to August 2023, the average import prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Poland ($17.0 per unit), while the price for China ($5.4 per unit) was amongst the lowest.
From August 2022 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by India (+11.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

In August 2023, the average blankets and travelling rugs export price amounted to $6.7 per unit, with an increase of 11% against the previous month. In general, the export price, however, saw a noticeable descent. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in September 2022 an increase of 86% month-to-month. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the peak figure at $27.0 per unit in December 2022; however, from January 2023 to August 2023, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In August 2023, the country with the highest price was Slovakia ($30.5 per unit), while the average price for exports to Bosnia and Herzegovina ($907 per thousand units) was amongst the lowest.
From August 2022 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Romania (+2.6%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.
Imports of Blankets and Travelling Rugs in Slovenia
After three years of growth, supplies from abroad of blankets and travelling rugses decreased by -0.2% to 2.1M units in 2022. In general, imports, however, enjoyed significant growth.
