Price for Books, Brochures and Leaflets in Brazil (CIF) - 2023
In July 2023, the average books, brochures and leaflets import price amounted to $8,239 per ton, with an increase of 25% against the previous month. Overall, the import price, however, continues to indicate a perceptible reduction. The growth pace was the most rapid in November 2022 when the average import price increased by 63% month-to-month. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $12,805 per ton. From December 2022 to July 2023, the average import prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In July 2023, the country with the highest price was the United States ($32,026 per ton), while the price for India ($3,316 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the United States (+1.8%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.

In 2022, the average books, brochures and leaflets export price amounted to $6,567 per ton, surging by 6.7% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, recorded a abrupt downturn. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2019 an increase of 57% against the previous year. The export price peaked at $17,865 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was the United States ($13,740 per ton), while the average price for exports to Chile ($3,099 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Guatemala (+0.8%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.
Imports of Books, Brochures and Leaflets in Brazil
In 2022, after two years of decline, there was significant growth in overseas purchases of books, brochures, leaflets and similar printed matter, when their volume increased by 43% to 8.6K tons. Overall, imports, however, recorded a slight descent.
