Price for Books, Brochures and Leaflets in Ghana (CIF) - 2023
In December 2023, the average books, brochures and leaflets import price amounted to $1,640 per ton, waning by -3.8% against the previous month. In general, the import price recorded a noticeable setback. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in July 2023 an increase of 18% month-to-month. The import price peaked at $2,613 per ton in August 2023; however, from September 2023 to December 2023, import prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In December 2023, the country with the highest price was the UK ($4,013 per ton), while the price for Turkey ($421 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From December 2022 to December 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the UK (+6.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.

In 2022, the average books, brochures and leaflets export price amounted to $1,433 per ton, reducing by -64.1% against the previous year. In general, the export price continues to indicate a slight descent. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 an increase of 171% against the previous year. The export price peaked at $3,992 per ton in 2021, and then contracted sharply in the following year.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was the UK ($6,848 per ton), while the average price for exports to Greece ($105 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Uganda (+15.7%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
