In August 2023, the average brass tubes and pipes export price amounted to $22,597 per ton, dropping by -2.5% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price, however, saw notable growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in October 2022 an increase of 106% month-to-month. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $36,965 per ton. From November 2022 to August 2023, the the average export prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Sweden ($39,596 per ton), while the average price for exports to Moldova ($12,576 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From August 2022 to August 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Serbia (+2.7%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average brass tubes and pipes import price stood at $10,525 per ton in August 2023, approximately equating the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price continues to indicate a abrupt descent.
