Price for Brass Tubes and Pipes in Ukraine (FOB) - 2022
In 2022, the average brass tubes and pipes export price amounted to $8,617 per ton, flattening at the previous year. Over the last decade, it increased at an average annual rate of +1.3%. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 an increase of 45%. The export price peaked in 2022 and is expected to retain growth in the near future.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major external markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Belarus ($12,816 per ton), while the average price for exports to Poland ($4,827 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Belarus (+6.0%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average brass tubes and pipes import price stood at $11,539 per ton in 2022, which is down by -7.1% against the previous year. In general, import price indicated a notable increase from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +2.0% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, brass tubes and pipes import price increased by +32.9% against 2019 indices. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2021 an increase of 27%. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the maximum at $13,027 per ton in 2017; however, from 2018 to 2022, import prices remained at a lower figure.

Exports of Brass Tubes and Pipes in Ukraine
In 2022, overseas shipments of tubes and pipes of copper-zinc base alloys (brass) decreased by -86% to 48 tons, falling for the second year in a row after two years of growth. Overall, exports faced a dramatic descent. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2020 with an increase of 54% against the previous year. As a result, the exports reached the peak of 362 tons. From 2021 to 2022, the growth of the exports remained at a somewhat lower figure.
