In June 2023, the average export price for cabbages, cauliflowers, kohlrabi, kale and similar edible brassicas; fresh or chilleds amounted to $479 per ton, falling by -34.2% against the previous month. In general, the export price showed a mild contraction. The growth pace was the most rapid in December 2022 an increase of 96% month-to-month. The export price peaked at $1,096 per ton in March 2023; however, from April 2023 to June 2023, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was the UK ($1,819 per ton), while the average price for exports to Mali ($222 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Mauritania (+0.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced mixed trend patterns.

In 2022, the average import price for cabbages, cauliflowers, kohlrabi, kale and similar edible brassicas; fresh or chilleds amounted to $883 per ton, jumping by 39% against the previous year. Overall, the import price, however, continues to indicate a perceptible decrease. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 an increase of 46%. The import price peaked at $1,407 per ton in 2012; however, from 2013 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.
Prices varied noticeably by country of origin: amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was France ($1,567 per ton), while the price for the Netherlands ($658 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Germany (+3.1%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

For the fourth consecutive year, Morocco recorded growth in shipments abroad of cabbages, cauliflowers, kohlrabi, kale and similar edible brassicas; fresh or chilleds, which increased by 28% to 35K tons in 2022. In general, total exports indicated a significant expansion from 2019 to 2022: its volume increased at an average annual rate of +21.7% over the last three-year period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, exports increased by +80.3% against 2019 indices. As a result, the exports attained the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
In value terms, exports of cabbages, cauliflowers, kohlrabi, kale and similar edible brassicas; fresh or chilleds expanded slightly to $17M in 2022. Over the period under review, exports saw significant growth. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 when exports increased by 52%. Over the period under review, the exports of reached the peak figure in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in years to come.

From 2021 to 2022, the growth of imports of remained at a somewhat lower figure.

Overall, imports continue to indicate a precipitous setback. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2020 with an increase of 27% against the previous year.
