In 2022, the average calendar and calendar block import price amounted to $6,708 per ton, which is down by -10.2% against the previous year. Overall, import price indicated moderate growth from 2012 to 2022: its price increased at an average annual rate of +4.9% over the last decade. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, calendar and calendar block import price increased by +61.3% against 2017 indices. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 an increase of 43% against the previous year. The import price peaked at $7,472 per ton in 2021, and then reduced in the following year.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was South Korea ($20,943 per ton), while the price for China ($3,721 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by South Korea (+13.0%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

In 2022, the average calendar and calendar block export price amounted to $4,865 per ton, waning by -2.8% against the previous year. Overall, the export price recorded a slight decline. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2020 when the average export price increased by 39%. The export price peaked at $5,966 per ton in 2015; however, from 2016 to 2022, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major foreign markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was the United States ($15,493 per ton), while the average price for exports to Mexico ($2,073 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the United States (+6.8%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Imports of Calendar and Calendar Block in Peru
