The average import price for carbides; of silicon, whether or not chemically defineds stood at $2,556 per ton in 2022, rising by 25% against the previous year. Over the last decade, it increased at an average annual rate of +2.8%. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in 2013 an increase of 32% against the previous year. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $2,566 per ton; afterwards, it flattened through to 2022.
