The average import price for carpets and other textile floor coverings; tufted, whether or not made ups stood at $15.0 per square meter in November 2023, waning by -19.7% against the previous month. Overall, the import price saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in February 2023 when the average import price increased by 26% month-to-month. The import price peaked at $19.4 per square meter in July 2023; however, from August 2023 to November 2023, import prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In November 2023, the country with the highest price was China ($18.4 per square meter), while the price for Australia ($7.0 per square meter) was amongst the lowest.
