In December 2023, the average export price for cellulose acetates; non-plasticised, in primary formses amounted to $3,650 per ton, declining by -2.3% against the previous month. Overall, the export price, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in July 2023 an increase of 14% month-to-month. The export price peaked at $3,735 per ton in November 2023, and then contracted in the following month.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Germany ($49,467 per ton), while the average price for exports to Lithuania ($2,591 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
