The average export price for cellulose fibre-cement articles or the like; corrugated sheetses stood at $682 per ton in October 2023, which is down by -2.2% against the previous month. Over the period from November 2022 to October 2023, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.3%. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in June 2023 an increase of 22% against the previous month. As a result, the export price reached the peak level of $845 per ton. From July 2023 to October 2023, the the average export prices failed to regain momentum.
Average prices varied noticeably for the major export markets. In October 2023, the countries with the highest prices were Ireland ($798 per ton) and France ($739 per ton), while the average price for exports to Belgium ($653 per ton) and Germany ($692 per ton) were amongst the lowest.
From November 2022 to October 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Belgium (+1.5%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

In October 2023, the average import price for cellulose fibre-cement articles or the like; corrugated sheetses amounted to $2,275 per ton, falling by -3.5% against the previous month. Overall, the import price, however, saw resilient growth. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in May 2023 an increase of 162% against the previous month. The import price peaked at $2,358 per ton in September 2023, and then fell in the following month.
Average prices varied noticeably amongst the major supplying countries. In October 2023, the highest price was recorded for prices from Belgium ($2,279 per ton) and Poland ($2,270 per ton), while the price for Slovenia ($2,261 per ton) and France ($2,266 per ton) were amongst the lowest.
