In April 2024, the average export price for central heating boilers; excluding those of heading no. 8402s amounted to $2,102 per unit, surging by 9.6% against the previous month. Overall, export price indicated moderate growth from April 2023 to April 2024: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +2.2% over the last twelve-month period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on April 2024 figures, export price for central heating boilers; excluding those of heading no. 8402s increased by +72.7% against February 2024 indices. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in March 2024 an increase of 58% month-to-month. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the peak figure at $2,260 per unit in May 2023; however, from June 2023 to April 2024, the export prices failed to regain momentum.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Switzerland ($2,285 per unit), while the average price for exports to Serbia ($286 per unit) was amongst the lowest.

From April 2023 to April 2024, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to France (+7.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

In value terms, exports of central heating boilers; excluding those of heading no. 8402s totaled $52M in 2022. Over the period under review, total exports indicated a resilient increase from 2019 to 2022: its value increased at an average annual rate of +16.1% over the last three years. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, exports increased by +56.4% against 2019 indices. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2021 with an increase of 23% against the previous year. The exports peaked in 2022 and are expected to retain growth in the near future.
