Price for Cereal Flour; of Maize (Corn) in Poland (FOB) - 2023

In June 2023, the average export price for cereal flour; of maize (corn) amounted to $749 per ton, declining by -4.5% against the previous month. Overall, export price indicated a perceptible expansion from June 2022 to June 2023: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +4.4% over the last twelve-month period. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on June 2023 figures, cereal flour; of maize (corn) export price decreased by -4.5% against May 2023 indices. The growth pace was the most rapid in October 2022 an increase of 14% month-to-month. The export price peaked at $784 per ton in May 2023, and then shrank modestly in the following month.

Average prices varied somewhat for the major overseas markets. In June 2023, the highest price was recorded for prices to France ($900 per ton) and the UK ($859 per ton), while the average price for exports to Lithuania ($686 per ton) and Germany ($700 per ton) were amongst the lowest.

From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to the UK (+6.2%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

Over the last twelve months, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.9%. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in November 2022 an increase of 14% m-o-m. The import price peaked in June 2023.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Germany ($1,267 per ton), while the price for Ukraine ($388 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From June 2022 to June 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by France (+3.6%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.
