Price for Cereal Flour; of Maize (Corn) in Sri Lanka (FOB) - 2022
The average export price for cereal flour; of maize (corn) stood at $1,149 per ton in 2022, waning by -19.3% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2017 an increase of 47%. The export price peaked at $1,689 per ton in 2020; however, from 2021 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was American Samoa ($3,361 per ton), while the average price for exports to the United Arab Emirates ($889 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
