Price for Cereal Flour; of Maize (Corn) in Thailand (CIF) - 2023
The average import price for cereal flour; of maize (corn) stood at $946 per ton in July 2023, remaining relatively unchanged against the previous month. In general, the import price, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in December 2022 when the average import price increased by 24% m-o-m. As a result, import price reached the peak level of $1,053 per ton. From January 2023 to July 2023, the average import prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was the UK ($1,167 per ton), while the price for India ($487 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From July 2022 to July 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the UK (+1.8%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Qatar ($2,074 per ton), while the average price for exports to Lao People's Democratic Republic ($362 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Hong Kong SAR (+10.3%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
