The average export price for cereal flours; other than of wheat or meslin stood at $365 per ton in October 2023, dropping by -21.3% against the previous month. In general, the export price showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in November 2022 when the average export price increased by 5.1% m-o-m. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the maximum at $469 per ton in April 2023; however, from May 2023 to October 2023, the export prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
Average prices varied noticeably for the major overseas markets. In October 2023, the country with the highest price was Latvia ($375 per ton), while the average price for exports to Lithuania totaled $338 per ton.
From October 2022 to October 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Latvia (-0.7%).

The average import price for cereal flours; other than of wheat or meslin stood at $554 per ton in 2022, growing by 37% against the previous year. Overall, the import price recorded a pronounced increase. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in 2016 when the average import price increased by 76%. Over the period under review, average import prices reached the peak figure at $726 per ton in 2014; however, from 2015 to 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.
