In September 2022, the average import price for cereal flours; other than of wheat or meslin amounted to $1,542 per ton, remaining constant against the previous month. In general, the import price, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in May 2022 when the average import price increased by 13% against the previous month. The import price peaked at $1,562 per ton in August 2022, and then contracted slightly in the following month.

In general, export price indicated a modest increase from January 2022 to September 2022: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +1.7% over the last eight months. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. From January 2022 to September 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Fiji (+6.1%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
