The average export price for cereals; barley, other than seeds stood at $360 per ton in August 2023, picking up by 2.2% against the previous month. In general, the export price showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in May 2023 an increase of 40% month-to-month. Over the period under review, the average export prices attained the maximum at $364 per ton in June 2023; however, from July 2023 to August 2023, the export prices failed to regain momentum.
As there is only one major export destination, the average price level is determined by prices for Norway.
From March 2023 to August 2023, the rate of growth in terms of prices for France amounted to +40.7% per month.
