The average export price for cereals; grain sorghum, other than seeds stood at $300 per ton in February 2023, growing by 1.7% against the previous month. Overall, the export price enjoyed a mild expansion. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in June 2022 an increase of 4.5% m-o-m. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs in February 2023.

As there is only one major export destination, the average price level is determined by prices for China.

From May 2022 to February 2023, the rate of growth in terms of prices for China amounted to +1.1% per month.

In 2022, shipments abroad of cereals; grain sorghum, other than seeds decreased by -20.2% to 1.7M tons for the first time since 2018, thus ending a three-year rising trend.
