The average export price for cermets; articles thereof, including waste and scrap stood at $102K per ton in March 2024, surging by 6.2% against the previous month. Over the last twelve-month period, it increased at an average monthly rate of +1.2%. The pace of growth appeared the most rapid in April 2023 an increase of 17% m-o-m. Over the period under review, the average export prices hit record highs at $106K per ton in November 2023; however, from December 2023 to March 2024, the export prices failed to regain momentum.

Prices varied noticeably by the country of destination: the country with the highest price was Switzerland ($177K per ton), while the average price for exports to Japan ($56,668 per ton) was amongst the lowest.

From March 2023 to March 2024, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to India (+7.5%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
