In 2022, the average export price for cermets; articles thereof, including waste and scrap amounted to $3,801 per ton, jumping by 51% against the previous year. Overall, the export price, however, showed a noticeable downturn. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the peak figure at $6,243 per ton in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Germany ($17,560 per ton), while the average price for exports to Taiwan (Chinese) ($1,786 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Germany (+9.8%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.

The import price peaked at $92,596 per ton in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, import prices stood at a somewhat lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices amongst the major supplying countries. In 2022, amid the top importers, the country with the highest price was the United States ($127,109 per ton), while the price for Canada ($11,770 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by the United States (+3.8%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.
