The average import price for cigars, cheroots, cigarillos and cigarettes; of tobacco or of tobacco substituteses stood at $55.0 per thousand units in April 2024, picking up by 6.7% against the previous month. In general, import price indicated modest growth from April 2023 to April 2024: its price increased at an average monthly rate of +1.8% over the last twelve months. The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on April 2024 figures, import price for cigars, cheroots, cigarillos and cigarettes; of tobacco or of tobacco substituteses increased by +22.8% against January 2024 indices.
