In 2022, the average export price for cocoa beans; whole or broken, raw or roasteds amounted to $6,006 per ton, dropping by -22.3% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, showed buoyant growth. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2015 an increase of 114%. Over the period under review, the average export prices reached the maximum at $7,727 per ton in 2021, and then declined notably in the following year.

Prices varied noticeably by country of destination: amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Canada ($10,722 per ton), while the average price for exports to India ($2,250 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
