In March 2024, the average export price for copper; copper-tin base alloys (bronze) unwroughts amounted to $10,051 per ton, picking up by 1.9% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the export price, however, saw a relatively flat trend pattern. The pace of growth was the most pronounced in November 2023 an increase of 9.8% against the previous month. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $11,213 per ton. From December 2023 to March 2024, the the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.

Average prices varied somewhat for the major overseas markets. In March 2024, the country with the highest price was the UK ($13,177 per ton), while the average price for exports to Switzerland totaled $9,425 per ton.

From March 2023 to March 2024, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Spain (+3.7%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
