Price for Copper Plates, Sheets and Strip in Serbia (FOB) - 2024
The average export price for copper plates, sheets and strips stood at $9,469 per ton in November 2023, growing by 1.6% against the previous month. In general, the export price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in July 2023 an increase of 8.5% against the previous month. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $10,301 per ton. From August 2023 to November 2023, the the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.
Average prices varied noticeably for the major export markets. In November 2023, the countries with the highest prices were Bosnia and Herzegovina ($10,019 per ton) and Germany ($9,840 per ton), while the average price for exports to the UK ($8,358 per ton) and the Czech Republic ($8,684 per ton) were amongst the lowest.
From February 2023 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Slovenia (-0.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.

In November 2023, the average import price for copper plates, sheets and strips amounted to $11,695 per ton, with an increase of 6.2% against the previous month. In general, the import price, however, continues to indicate a slight curtailment. The import price peaked at $12,875 per ton in February 2023; however, from March 2023 to November 2023, import prices failed to regain momentum.
Average prices varied somewhat amongst the major supplying countries. In November 2023, the countries with the highest prices were Germany ($13,393 per ton) and Croatia ($12,647 per ton), while the price for Turkey ($9,148 per ton) and China ($9,631 per ton) were amongst the lowest.
From February 2023 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Germany (+0.4%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced mixed trend patterns.
Exports of Copper Plates, Sheets and Strip in Serbia
