Price for Copper Plates, Sheets and Strip in Serbia (FOB) - 2024

The average export price for copper plates, sheets and strips stood at $9,469 per ton in November 2023, growing by 1.6% against the previous month. In general, the export price, however, continues to indicate a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in July 2023 an increase of 8.5% against the previous month. As a result, the export price attained the peak level of $10,301 per ton. From August 2023 to November 2023, the the average export prices remained at a somewhat lower figure.

Average prices varied noticeably for the major export markets. In November 2023, the countries with the highest prices were Bosnia and Herzegovina ($10,019 per ton) and Germany ($9,840 per ton), while the average price for exports to the UK ($8,358 per ton) and the Czech Republic ($8,684 per ton) were amongst the lowest.

From February 2023 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Slovenia (-0.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced a decline.

In November 2023, the average import price for copper plates, sheets and strips amounted to $11,695 per ton, with an increase of 6.2% against the previous month. In general, the import price, however, continues to indicate a slight curtailment. The import price peaked at $12,875 per ton in February 2023; however, from March 2023 to November 2023, import prices failed to regain momentum.
