In 2022, the average export price for copper; refined, unwrought, cathodes and sections of cathodeses amounted to $8,538 per ton, falling by -8.6% against the previous year. In general, the export price, however, recorded a relatively flat trend pattern. The growth pace was the most rapid in 2021 when the average export price increased by 48% against the previous year. Average prices varied noticeably for the major export markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the highest price was recorded for prices to South Korea ($9,318 per ton) and the United States ($8,890 per ton), while the average price for exports to Taiwan (Chinese) ($8,283 per ton) and China ($8,363 per ton) were amongst the lowest.

From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to South Korea (+1.4%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
