Over the period under review, the import price showed a relatively flat trend pattern. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in July 2021 when the average import price increased by 12% against the previous month. The import price peaked at $5,688 per ton in November 2021; however, from December 2021 to March 2022, import prices failed to regain momentum.

Average prices varied somewhat for the major foreign markets. In March 2022, the country with the highest price was Russia ($8,091 per ton), while the average price for exports to Poland stood at $6,324 per ton.
From March 2021 to March 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Russia (+0.7%).
