The average import price for cycles; parts, pedals and crank-gear, and parts thereoves stood at $25,909 per ton in November 2023, falling by -18.9% against the previous month. Over the period under review, the import price, however, enjoyed a remarkable increase. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in February 2023 when the average import price increased by 71% m-o-m. Over the period under review, average import prices attained the peak figure at $34,205 per ton in September 2023; however, from October 2023 to November 2023, import prices remained at a lower figure.
Prices varied noticeably by the country of origin: the country with the highest price was Germany ($52,495 per ton), while the price for Vietnam ($5,057 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From November 2022 to November 2023, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was attained by Germany (+17.9%), while the prices for the other major suppliers experienced more modest paces of growth.

The average export price for cycles; parts, pedals and crank-gear, and parts thereoves stood at $21,444 per ton in 2022, with an increase of 6.8% against the previous year. Over the period under review, the export price, however, showed a abrupt shrinkage. The most prominent rate of growth was recorded in 2019 when the average export price increased by 44% against the previous year. The export price peaked at $71,530 per ton in 2013; however, from 2014 to 2022, the export prices remained at a lower figure.
There were significant differences in the average prices for the major foreign markets. In 2022, amid the top suppliers, the country with the highest price was Poland ($27,510 per ton), while the average price for exports to Austria ($6,736 per ton) was amongst the lowest.
From 2012 to 2022, the most notable rate of growth in terms of prices was recorded for supplies to Ukraine (+13.0%), while the prices for the other major destinations experienced more modest paces of growth.
Imports of Cycles; Parts, Pedals and Crank-Gear, and Parts Thereof in Slovakia

The trend pattern, however, indicated some noticeable fluctuations being recorded throughout the analyzed period. Based on 2022 figures, imports increased by +72.9% against 2019 indices. As a result, imports reached the peak and are likely to continue growth in the immediate term.
